The harshest of lights now shines on matters of care in the age of climate emergency. Climate Care is initiated by curator Naiyi Wang and dedicated to exploring the convergence of art, technology and climate change, while seeking to evoke action on the climate crisis in all its facets. Our current projects involve creative explorations of ecology, economy, and emerging (web3) technologies.
Over the past five years, we have promoted innovation in ecological action, developing projects such as "Climate Clock #ActInTimeChina”, "Climate Declaration”, and "Climate Negotiation". We have organized exhibitions and projects through a transdisciplinary curatorial approach—including Beijing Art and Technology Biennale (BATB), Asia Digital Art Exhibition (ADAE), Beijing Media Art Biennale (BMAB), and more—to nurture mutually beneficial relations among art, technology, and ecology. By encouraging the development of ecologically-conscious and collaborative practices in art+technology, our work aims to provide unconventional responses to planetary challenges.
